    perfect location

my family and I loved our stay at crockett! the location was perfect, right across from the alamo and a short walk to river walk and river center mall. the staff was super helpful, especially the valet! we enjoyed the lively atmosphere at ernie's bar and the amazing coffee in the lobby. definitely check out the cavern during your stay!

wish they had a fan in the room since the lighting was a bit minimal, but overall, I recommend.

    historical vibe
    shower temperature fluctuations

The Alamo is just a stone's throw away, and the

Hotel itself has a charming historical vibe. the shower temperature fluctuated during my stay, making it difficult to enjoy a relaxing wash. Still, the friendly staff and the complimentary breakfast were highlights of my experience.

In my wife’s opinion, the pool could use some heating. It was a tad too chilly for the kids to enjoy thoroughly.

The location is unbeatable, right across from the Alamo! I loved the charming ambiance with live music at night. The large entryway in our room was a nice surprise, making it feel even more spacious. Plus, the view from our window was amazing!

    delicious cinnamon rolls
    lively bar atmosphere
    helpful cleaning crew
    no breakfast included
    cracked bathroom sink

Oh, the cinnamon rolls from the breakfast bar were legendary, a real sweet treat! And the lively atmosphere at Ernie's bar really added to our fun time. The cleaning crew kept everything looking sharp, and the location was just a stone's throw from the Alamo and River Walk!

But no breakfast included—just a grab-and-go situation. The room windows faced an inner lobby that they called a historic view? The crack in the bathroom sink didn't exactly score points either!

    charming ambiance
    quality drinks
    limited room amenities

great location but needs better room amenities

The ambiance of the hotel truly captures the historical essence of the area. I especially enjoyed the cozy bar, where I found some excellent drink options that elevated our evenings.

However, the room amenities fell short of my expectations.

I really appreciated that we could see the back of the Alamo from our fifth-floor room. It was just a short walk to the beautiful River Walk which I enjoyed strolling along every evening.

Great location next to the Alamo.

Our room faced an inner lobby, which felt disappointing. Additionally, the bathroom had a cracked sink that should have been fixed. The air conditioning was disturbingly loud, making it hard to sleep.

    housekeeping service

I had a lovely four-night stay where I enjoyed the amazing blueberry muffins at the coffee shop and some great live music in the tavern. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing with friends after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, there wasn't any housekeeping service during my stay, but that didn't ruin the experience at all! ☕

My stay at the Crockett was very enjoyable. The staff provided outstanding service, from the efficient front desk to the accommodating valet, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious and immaculately cleaned, with a comfortable king bed and a fantastic view of the Alamo. Breakfast exceeded expectations, offering a generous buffet with hot options like eggs and waffles. The hotel's location is ideal, being right across from the Alamo and close to the RiverWalk.

Minor noise from the street, but well-insulated windows helped.
